Students must be between the ages of 3 and 6. Minimum age for preschool entrance is 3 years old by September 1 before the first day of the academic year. Cornell provides three grade-levels from K1 to K3.

The academic year is divided into two semesters.
• First Semester : From August 1 to January 31.
• Second Semester : From February 1 to July 31.
• Winter break: Around Lunar New Year.

Preschool department

Pre-school children mainly learn through physical contact and utilizing their five senses to feel and experience the world. Through a theme based classroom approach, we believe that our classrooms are fully equipped for students to thoroughly explore the inner workings of their various subjects. In addition, movable desks and chairs ensure that both teachers and students alike have the ability to utilize the classroom space to broaden their horizons as they go about learning in their classes which are packed with visual cues. These no doubt invigorates the learning experience and also stimulates children’s thinking abilities.
